Real estate has always been fascinating to Denice Lara. After many years of running her thriving home-based businesses, she ultimately found her professional niche in the field of real estate. Denice's extensive background in business, her keen eye for detail and her warm, friendly, and intuitive personality are key components in making her an ideal real estate agent.
A lifelong Long Islander, Denice grew up in Commack and studied Business at SUNY Farmingdale. Her first taste of real estate came while working in a brokerage office in Commack. She also ran a side business managing agents' farming mailings. After receiving her real estate license, she quickly moved on to becoming one of the top sales agents at the Highlands, a luxury community of single-family homes located in Aquebogue, New York.
She and her husband moved to Baiting Hollow in 1996 with their three children. They absolutely love living on the beautiful North Fork, where their home is bordered by farmland and provides a peaceful, serene place to relax and entertain.
Denice is a person who works with an intense sense of perfection. When her work is done, in addition to her love of decorating and creating a warm and beautiful home environment for her family, cooking for and entertaining her many friends and family, her all-time favorite pastime is family travel. She particularly enjoys visiting her family's condo in Florida, spending time on Schroon River in Upstate New York with her parents, and snorkeling, shopping and relaxing on the Cayman Islands.
Because Denice understands what a huge emotional and financial decision it is to purchase, rent, or sell a home, she is able to empathize with her clients' needs. She puts all her effort into assisting people with a great sense of professionalism and care. Denice possesses a keen sense of matching properties to the needs of the person with whom she is working.
